ABOUT ME

My name is Audrey Osborne I'm originally from Richmond WA. But I'm always moving because of my management. My favourite things about this job are the money, the people, and the freedom. I get to control when I work, how much I charge, what I will and won’t do, and whom I interact with. I also get to meet some amazing viewers and form friendships with people all over the world. I’ve gone to a local strip club to check things out, but I prefer the security of working at home and being able to log off whenever I want. Besides, I think there is always more to learn, and there are so many things I’d still like to do and achieve with this job. When I started, camming was a means to an end for me, a way to pay off my school debt. Now, seeing how well I’ve done, and seeing the potential for more success, I think I’ll be a camgirl for a long time. I love my job, I love the people I’ve met, and I love the person I’ve become because of it.Who I am as a camgirl is very much who I am in my regular life, but with a few traits enhanced. When I’m working I’m playing out a fantasy, so I’m a more dominant, more teasing, more sexual version of myself. Camming has made me incredibly self-confident. When you have thousands of men telling you you’re a goddess, it makes it difficult to care when a random person insults your appearance.

Likes And Dislikes About Camming

What I love about camming is the diversity and honesty that is displayed in the community. Any type of person can be a cam model if they are willing to work for it. We are all fairly honest about what we do and do not like and you experience the most intimate part of peoples lives. It is very nonjudgmental and I really enjoy that. I also like how my guests in my room expose me to new things, I have discovered so much about my sexuality this way. The friendships that I have formed are also a big part of what I love about this job, I have met some really amazing people in the last 9-10 months of my time in camming. The potential of growth is also really intriguing, you can expand your “business” in so many ways, from selling videos and pictures to writing and selling erotic stories. Some cam models even vlog on Youtube.

So overall I really, really enjoy being a cam model.

The few things I don’t enjoy about camming can be challenging. Society’s outlook on my profession is typically incorrect and riddled with assumptions. So often I can’t tell people what I really do for work due to the fear of them rejecting me completely. My family doesn’t really know what I do for a living, currently they think I am a telemarketer at a local building in my area. I am always wondering what would go on if they found out. I fear they will not understand and shun me from their lives, and even though I know that they very well might I still want to be around them. They are my family of course. So even with the downsides of this job I still enjoy it more than anything I have ever done for work or even as a hobby.

Common Misconceptions About me

Common misconceptions people have about me are that:

1.I make easy money

2.That I am “selling myself” and,

3.I lack the intelligence/skills to get a “normal” job.

Honestly these assumptions hurt, and are very untrue. Making money as a CamGirl is very challenging, just like any competitive field we have to constantly be thinking of something to draw people in. I have days that I make a surprising amount and others I make less than $20 which can be pretty disappointing. This is especially true when I know I have bills to pay, just like everyone else.

Secondly I am not “selling myself” I hate that phrase, I am merely sharing my sexuality with others while I also benefit from it socially, sexually and financially. I make another person’s day better by also making myself feel good, so how is that a negative thing? Those who do not want to be there may better fit that phrase but for serious CamGirls who enjoy their job nothing could be further from the truth. One of my fans even described my job title as “Online Fantasy Engineer”. I make their fantasy’s come true in ways they might not experience in reality.

The most disappointing misconception I have come across is that I lack the intelligence/skills to get a “normal” job. I have held many “normal” jobs successfully and enjoyed none of them. During the time I have been employed in these jobs I have been very unhappy, which should not be what you look for in your career especially if it is long term. So in my personal opinion I prefer camming to “normal” jobs and I understand that some people may not share that opinion. I started college 2 years early and preformed classical music semi-professionally when I was younger, which I don’t find to be a indicator of lack of intelligence. Other CamGirls my age have also made amazing achievements both academically and in other impressive areas in their lives that only shows how intelligent they really are. Even if they haven’t that doesn’t mean that anyone should be judged on their intelligence based on their profession. Especially since the profession itself takes someone who is business and tech savvy which do require intelligence.
